Kathie Gagnon is a proven leader in the credit and financial management industries. Her professional experience spans three decades as a senior vice president, group manager and team leader of key departments of the biggest banks in the Northeast, Fleet Bank and BankBoston. Kathie spent the first part of her career in a community bank, and is in a unique position to understand the needs and challenges of community institutions.

While at BankBoston, she was named Lender of the Year as a middle market lender for handling high visibility, complex loan relationships, while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Risk Management

As principal of RMC, Kathie has a notable track record of balancing risk with profitable business practice. She is considered a subject matter expert on risk management--including anti-money laundering programs, fraud prevention and credit risk.

During her career, she improved and enhanced risk identification, successfully handled outside regulatory reviews and identified process changes to facilitate an increase in a maximum lending limit from $500M to $5MM. At Fleet Small Business Services, she managed a credit review function for a $4 billion line of business.
